Document basics

  1. Opening a Document transmittal

    Open document transmittals from an email notification or the Unread Transmittal list on the My Tasks page.

Sharing documents

Sharing documents

  1. Open a share notification from My Tasks

    Document share notifications list documents that have been shared with you, or documents that are no longer shared with you.

  2. Share status indicators in document search results

    The Share column in the document search results indicates whether a document has been shared or not.

  3. Share documents to all organizations on a project

    You can permanently share documents to all project members.

  4. Add users to the target list for a shared document

    Share documents with specific members of your project, and choose who can supersede the document.

  5. Remove users from the target list for a shared document

    The selected documents are no longer shared with the removed project members.

  6. Create a share folder structure

    Use a folder structure to organize and group the documents you want to share, and manage access to these shared documents at the folder level.

  7. Add users to the target list for a share folder

    All documents in the folder are shared with the project members on the target list.

  8. Remove users from the target list for a share folder

    All documents in the folder are no longer shared with the removed project members.
