How to create an Asset Reference List template

To create a Handover Manual, you'll need to have suppliers complete an Asset Reference List template.

The Asset Reference List template is an Excel spreadsheet that’s empty but for column headers.

These column headers reflect each piece of information you want to know about the assets included in your project.

The spreadsheet lets you break up asset information into categories that can be searched and navigated in your manual.

Here's what you need to do:

  1. Work out how you want to be able to find information in your Smart Manual.
  2. Create a spreadsheet with a column for each category of information you want to know about each asset.
  3. Issue that template to all your suppliers through Aconex.
