System neutrality and why it’s so important to Aconex
One of Aconex’s key features that we’re really proud of is our system neutrality. No matter how small or large an organization on a project is, everyone has the same rights. Here’s what that means and how it’s beneficial to you:
As a project member, you’ll use Aconex to share thousands of documents and files with companies working on the same project, and they’ll share information with you.
The cool part? Only the people you’ve chosen to share this information with can see it, whether they’re within your organization or an external party. The same goes for you, too; you can only see what’s been shared with you, so that instead of suffering from data overload, you’ll only get the information that’s important to your business.
You retain ownership and control over all your information, allowing you to keep files confidential or share them with specific users. That’s the case whether you’re the project-owning organization or not, and whether you’re a sole proprietor or one user out of thousands at an organization.
Files shared within Aconex also cannot be deleted. This is important, because that means there’s an electronic record of everything submitted and shared accountability, no matter the size of the project or the organizations that are part of it.
System neutrality ensures that Aconex is a level playing field for all users and organizations, no matter their size.
