Change the Local Copy minimum disk space requirement

Edit the default disk space setting for your datastores.

Each Local Copy datastore requires a certain amount of disk space in order to run.

The default minimum disk space requirement for a single datastore is 500MB. This requirement affects all the datastore locations on the server.

If the amount of free disk space for any datastore location falls below this value, all datastores on the disk are set to Paused status, and won’t be updated.

You can:

  • increase the available disk space for paused jobs by:
    • moving datastores to another location that has more free space
    • deleting other files from the disk.
  • reduce the minimum disk space requirement to enable paused jobs to be resumed.

Here’s how to change that minimum disk space requirement.

  1. From the Start menu, click All Programs > Aconex > Local Copy > Local Copy Manager.
  1. Click View Jobs.
  2. Click the Settings tab.
  3. Click Other Settings.
  4. In the Minimum Disk Space (MB) field, type the new minimum disk space requirement in megabytes.
  1. Click Save to save this setting.

  2. Stop and restart the Local Copy service to apply this change.
