Edit your Local Copy session timeout limit

Change the time for which Local Copy is inactive before you’re logged out.

By default, the Local Copy session timeout is set to 10 minutes.

If a user has not accessed the datastore within the session timeout period, the datastore is removed from the server memory. This allows other datastores to be opened if they’re needed.

You may need to reduce this value if you have a large number of datastores that are heavily used.

  1. From the Start menu, click All Programs > Aconex > Local Copy > Local Copy Manager.
  1. Click View Jobs.
  2. Click the General Settings tab.
  3. Click Other Settings.
  4. Type the new timeout value in seconds in the Session Timeout (Minutes) field.
  1. Click Save to save this new setting.

  2. Stop and restart the Local Copy service to apply your saved changes.
