Register your organization in Aconex

Has your organization been invited to join a project using Aconex? Get set up quickly.

Has your organization used Aconex before? Follow the Join an existing project instructions instead.

Before you begin, make sure you have authority to bind your organization to the Aconex terms and conditions.

  1. Go to the Aconex website at http://www.aconex.com.
  2. In the top right-hand corner, click on Register.
  1. Click on Register your organization to use Aconex for the first time, then select the region where your project is based and click Go.

Fill in information about your organization

Now you'll need to complete the Organization Registration form.

The first section of the form asks for information about your organization.

Complete all the required fields – they're marked with a red asterisk.

  • Organization Name
  • Trading Name
  • Organization Abbreviation – enter the initials or the first three letters of your organization's name. (You can change this later if you need to.)
  • Postal address
  • Delivery address
  • Phone number
  • Email address.

*Print Shop Organizations –  choose the optional Organization project roles as “Other”. And then after you submit the registration form, contact Service Desk to let them know you’re a Print Shop organization. 

Fill in information about you

The second section of the form asks for information about you.

Complete all the required fields – they're marked with a red asterisk.

  • Your given name
  • Your family name
  • Your job function – for example, Administration, Engineering, Vendor/Supplier
  • Your login name – e.g. Patrick O'Leary's login name is poleary. Choose a login name that you'll find easy to remember
  • A password
  • A security question and answer
  • Your work address
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address

  1. Read the Terms of Service agreement and Privacy Policy.
  2. Make sure you have the authority to bind your organization to the Aconex terms and conditions.
  3. Select the Terms of Service checkbox.
  4. Click on the Submit button at the top-right corner of the page.

  1. You'll see a message confirming your successful registration.

You're now the administrator for your organization

That's all you need to do. We'll contact you within 24 hours to activate your account. You won't be able to log in to Aconex until then.

By the way, when you register your organization, you automatically become the Aconex administrator for your organization.

We refer to this role as the Organization Administrator. You can assign these responsibilities to someone else. We'll send you an email about your Organization Admin responsibilities in the next few days.
