Change the mail attributes for your project

As the Project Administrator, you can set the available values for each mail attributes field on your project.

You can also make the Attribute field mandatory, or optional, for project participants to complete.

  1. Choose your project in the Project Selector at the top of the page.

  1. Click Setup on the Module Menu, and under Configuration, click Preferences.

  1. Click the Projects tab.
  2. Set the values for each mail attribute used on your project:
  1. Scroll to Project-wide settings, Mail, Select values for Attribute 1
  2. Click the Edit button.

  1. Enter the attribute value text in the text box. To add multiple attribute values, press the Enter key and enter the value text on the next line.
  2. Click the Add link to add and save your new attribute values.

  1. Click the OK button in the confirmation message.
  1. To remove an attribute value, Select the checkbox for the value in the Remove column.

  1. To reset the attribute value list to the Aconex defaults, select the Use Defaults checkbox.

  1. Click the Save button.

  1. Click the OK button in the confirmation message.
  2. Click the Back button.

  1. Set mail Attribute fields as mandatory, as required for your project:
  1. Scroll to Project-wide settings, Mail, Make Attribute 1 compulsory.
  2. Clear the Use Default Settings checkbox
  3. Select the Setting checkbox.

  1. Click the Save button to save all your changes.
