What do you need to do?
If you or your organization use IP address based access to Aconex, or you have firewall rules in place that restrict which sites you can access, you may have to update the Aconex IP address in your proxy server, firewall or web browser, etc., to continue access.
- Please ensure your IT department allows our SMTP mail server IP: 22.214.171.124
- Please ensure that the following IP address range is accessible from your site: 126.96.36.199/22
When is this happening?
The cut-over will take place on 29 July 2016. Access to Aconex will be unavailable while the change takes place during a nine-hour period from 18:00-03:00 GST 30 July 2016.
If we complete works earlier than expected, we’ll get Aconex back to you sooner than the 03:00 GST scheduled return time.
Why is this happening?
Users will be aware of intermittent performance issues over the past few months. One of the works to get performance back to above normal standard is to move our ALDAR instance to a new, state-of-the-art data center. We anticipate that this move will help improve stability and reliability across the Aconex application.
We’d like to reassure you that at no point during the migration will your project data be at risk.
