Insights reporting dashboard comes to the Tasks page
Your Tasks dashboard in Aconex now features the new Insights interface at the top of the page. It’s the default view when you log into Aconex and makes it easy to see how key processes are performing across all your projects.
Insights mail-based process reports show you exactly how your key Mail processes are performing. For example, you can quickly see what is happening with your RFIs, and find out who or what is holding them up. And now you can access them right from the Tasks page, drilling into the report to uncover all you need to know in just two clicks.

Related items creating relationships between documents in your register
Related Items is used to create relationships between documents - it’s simple! But this feature has many uses. Here’s one – if you have a comments document that you’ve been using as you review a drawing, you could link the two documents with Related Items. Then if you look at that drawing in the Document Register, you’ll have quick and easy access to the comments document.
Related items is currently only available in the following project locations: Australia and New Zealand (AU1), North America (US1) & Europe (UK1), Saudi Arabia (KSA). Stay tuned for updates on the roll-out of Related Items to other project locations in the coming months. Speak to your Aconex representative for more information.

Integration between the Document Register and Models
Models + Document Register = better design coordination and model access across your whole project team!
From the Document Register, you can send and receive models, quickly identify documents connected to models, and quickly jump straight into the model viewer. And like any document in your register, it’s simple to distribute the model to others via Mail or a transmittal.
Take a look at how it works.
Do much more with Field even while offline
- There’s now a table view of all your issues in Field - just click on the table view icon and you’ll see a list of every issue in a table, and you can edit them directly there, quick and easy.
- If you’re a Site Manager or a Foreman and you’re using a digital camera to take images of issues in the field we’ve now made it easier to get these images into Aconex. Now you can upload images via the desktop application!
- If you’re a Site Manager or performing an inspection, there can be times when you are in an area where there is a poor signal and lose connection. Now you can continue to work in Field, adding comments to issues, as well as viewing or editing them offline. When you’re back online these will sync automatically.

Packages is here
Aconex’s latest design and construction tool is now available for purchase on your project. Packages lets you group items from your Document Register in meaningful ways – like all documents relating to a single floor, or all structural drawings, for example. This creates a snapshot of the documents at that point in time. Speak to your Aconex representative to learn more about how you might use Packages on your project.

Parallel Review Markups Import
Parallel reviewers of a document will have the option to import markups submitted by other parallel reviewers. This means you can get more context for your review, based on another parallel reviewer’s comments and markups. It also means you can avoid doubling up on comments, and a nice bonus: the final document doesn’t end up with an impossible-to-read group of markups in one place on a document.
