We're changing our IP address in Asia (excluding China)

Written for:
Instance Affected:
Rest of Asia
Change Scheduled:
Thursday, 2 October, 2014 - 15:00

We are making some changes to the network that will mean a change to the IP address used by Aconex in Asia.

This will impact a number of you, who may have chosen to connect directly to an IP address, rather than the domain name hk1.aconex.com.

If you don’t have IP-based rules for accessing Aconex, (i.e. you simply browse to hk1.aconex.com) this change is unlikely to affect you.

What do you need to do?

If you or your organization use IP address based access to Aconex, or you have firewall rules in place that restrict which sites you can access, you may have to update the Aconex IP addresses in your proxy server, firewall or web browser, etc., to continue access.

You should ensure that the following IP address range is accessible from your site:

20.156.100.96/27

When is this happening?

The cut-over will take place on 4 October, 2014.

Access to Aconex will be unavailable while the change takes place, between 01:00 and 09:00 HKT.* However, we expect it to be finished by 06:00 HKT.

*Friday 3 October 2014, 10:00 to 18:00 PST.

How can you get help?
