Aconex Release Notes and Updates
A series of big releases have landed since June, with great new features that help you get more done in Aconex, and improvements to the tools you rely on most.
Keep your eye on how your project processes are tracking with an Insights dashboard right in your Tasks page! Models now integrates with the Document Register and Field offers a new Issues table view. It's a bumper release when you think about it!
There’s a couple of visual changes to Aconex this month – BIM is getting a new name, as is Field Checklists (along with some improvements to go along with the name change). The name changes won’t have any impact on the way things work, just in how they look – see below for screenshots of the changes. There’s also a number of fixes to the document viewer and we’re putting Global Login in beta – you’ll see a link for that on your login screen from now on.
The Aconex 17.9 release (currently scheduled for mid September 2017) includes the removal of the “Multi File Download” feature.
This month we have some bug fixes to make life better for everyone.
The release of Internet Explorer 11.0.43 has resulted in a bug which stops you printing Aconex mail when using that browser.
Field goes from strength to strength with another big release – the ability to log on to Aconex and open Field to start work (without logging in again) is just one of the highlights. The document viewer gets another round of enhancements as well.
A series of big releases have landed at Aconex throughout the year so far, with exciting new ways to tackle old problems, an assortment of key feature debuts, and core tools refurbished for greater ease of use.
Workflows and the new viewer get a range of enhancements this month, including a more responsive interface for different screen sizes and a great new zoom tool. Field delivers the ability to comment on issue status, and BIM Mobile has a new sectioning tool which makes work on site easier than ever.
