Aconex Release Notes and Updates
Aconex is launching a second instance of the platform for the Australian market, AU Gov. It has been created for project work with government agencies (for example, defence department contracts).
From new modules to enhanced features and functionality, the first half of 2016 has seen some fantastic advancements in Aconex.
Do you view, review, comment on or mark up documents? In the coming months you’ll notice some changes, mainly in Workflows and when viewing documents in the Document Register.
Since the move to our new data center on 3 June, some users have experienced issues with email notifications being blocked.
If you think your organization may not be receiving email notifications we need you to take immediate action.
To ensure you have optimal performance from Aconex, please contact your IT department.
This change will be critical for users who have IP-based rules for accessing Aconex.
To ensure you receive all operational emails, please contact your IT department and ask them to whitelist our new IP address range.
Not updating to the new IP address can result in mail notifications being blocked.
To improve capacity and performance on Aconex’s Middle East instance (mea.aconex.com), we are moving to a new, state-of-the-art data center on 3 June 2016, from 00:00-09:00 GST.
In this release we launch Groups –a powerful new feature that allows you to create a group of users from different organizations on a project and give them specific role permissions for Mail and Documents. You’ll also see a number of improvements in Workflows, some BIM refinements, some UI enhancements in Mail and bug fixes that should make everything work just that little bit better
