Adding and editing location detail suggestions

Adding location detail suggestions makes it easier for Inspectors to add issues.

This article shows you how to create and edit a project-specific list of location details to save inspectors time when they’re capturing issues on site.

Adding a Location detail suggestion

  1. Log into Aconex Field.

  2. Click on Field/Project Settings.

  3. Under Areas, select Location detail suggestions.

  4. Add the descriptions you want to use, putting each one on a new line. You can also paste in a list you've already prepared.

  5. Click the Save button to save your suggestions.

Editing Location detail suggestions

  1. Click on Field/Project Settings.

  2. Under Areas, select Location detail suggestions.

  3. Find the location detail you want to edit. Click on it to edit it.

  4. Once you've made your changes, click the Save button.

Deleting a Location detail suggestion

  1. Click on Field/Project Settings.

  2. Under Areas, select Location detail suggestions.

  3. Find the location detail you want to delete. Click on it, select it, then press Delete on your keyboard.

  4. Click Save to save the revised list of location detail suggestions.
