Working with Variations process metrics
In the screenshot below, you can see three metrics, Variation Activity, Variation Status and Average Resolve Time.
Clicking on any of them will take you to a corresponding Detailed Metric view.
Project Managers will receive variation requests from parties both upstream and downstream.
Conversely, your organization may request variations on contract, and other parties will need to respond. The variation activity visualization allows you to see how many variations you have received that need to be resolved by your organization and how many need to be resolved by a third-party organization.
The sparkline shows the number of Received and Sent variations for each of the last 30 days.
The visualization below allows you to see the status of variations that need to be resolved by your organization compared to variations that need to be resolved by a third-party organization.
It shows variations that are currently rejected, approved or pending.
With the visualization below you can see how long it takes on average for organizations to respond (particularly your organization). These performance times are often stipulated in the contract, so this parameter can be used to check that response times are within the bounds of the contract. The chart shows your resolution time (received) and other organizations’ resolution time (sent).
