Working with tags at the organization level
Creating the tags and tag categories you use across your organization.
Create an organization tag category
- Select Cost, then Cost Administration.
- Under Organization Data in the left-hand pane, click Tags.
- Click the Add icon on the toolbar under the Tag Categories. This opens the Create Tag Category window.
- Enter a name and select the checkboxes next to the data types below that you want to make this category available to.

- Click Create Tag Category to save the new category.
Create an organization tag
- In the Cost module, click the dropdown menu at the top-left of the page and select Cost Administration.
- Under the Organization Data heading in the left-hand pane, click Tags.
- Select the row of the tag category that you want to add a tag value to. Click the Add icon on the toolbar under the Tags heading and select Add Tag.
- The Create Tag window displays. Give the tag a name and code.
- Click Create Tag to save the new tag.
