Working with tags at the organization level

Creating the tags and tag categories you use across your organization.

Create an organization tag category

  1. Double-click Cost on the module menu.
  2. Click the dropdown menu at the top-left of the page and select Cost Administration.
  3. Under the Organization Data heading in the left-hand pane, click Tags.
  4. Click the Add icon on the toolbar under the Tags heading and select Add Category.
  5. The Create Tag Category window displays. Give the tag category a name and select the checkboxes next to the data types that you want this tag category available to.
  1. Click Create Tag Category to save the new category.

Create an organization tag

  1. In the Cost module, click the dropdown menu at the top-left of the page and select Cost Administration.
  2. Under the Organization Data heading in the left-hand pane, click Tags.
  3. Select the row of the tag category that you want to add a tag value to. Click the Add icon on the toolbar under the Tags heading and select Add Tag.
  4. The Create Tag window displays. Give the tag a name and code.
  5. Click Create Tag to save the new tag.
