Viewing Models
For more information on viewing and navigating a model in the viewer see Navigate a Model in Perspective Mode, Navigate a Model in Orthogonal Mode and Navigate a Model in Walkthrough Mode. For more information working with models, see Working with Objects.
Viewing models
- Click the Models tab in the module menu. (Note: your project may be configured to display the ‘Models’ menu name as ‘BIM’, as shown in the image below)
- On the left you can see all the Model stacks available for the project you are in.
- Select the model or models you want to view by clicking it.

- You can remove a model from the viewer by clicking it.
You can view as many models from the stack as you need to. This is called federating, which simply means loading, and therefore overlaying, multiple models together. Normally you'd load the different disciplines for a model into one federated view of the entire building.
Viewing Space Labels
If you want to see the label/name of the space you are looking at (such as Living Room, Toilet etc), click the three dots on the Explorer navigation on the right, then select Show labels. You should now see the labels of the model you are viewing.
To turn it off, click on the three dots again and click on Hide labels.
