Registering mail received from outside Aconex

Register incoming mail or responses to project mail, such as emails, letters or faxes, received from non-Aconex project mail.

Registering ensures that you have a complete and accurate record of all correspondence on the project. You can scan paper-based correspondence and attached the scanned files to the registered mail.

You can register both incoming mail and responses to a mail.

Registering incoming mail

  1. Select your project from the Project Selector at the top of the page.
  2. Click the Mail button on the Module Menu, and under Actions, click Register Incoming Mail.

  1. Complete all fields as required. At least one user from your organization must appear either in To, Cc or From field.
  2. Click the Register button.

When you do this, you will see the registered mail along with the watermark information.

Registering a response to a project mail

  1. Click the Mail button on the Module Menu, and under Search, click Sent.

  1. Complete one or more search criteria fields, then click the Search button.
  1. Select the Subject link of the mail the response is to.
  1. Click the Actions button and choose Register a Response.

  1. Complete all fields as required.
  2. Click the Register button.

When you do this, you will see the registered mail along with the watermark information.
