Skip a step in a workflow

The Workflow Initiator can move documents in a workflow to the next step.

If you need to, you can move documents forward to the next step in a workflow, essentially skipping the current step. No step outcome is recorded for the skipped steps.

  1. Choose your project from the Project Selector at the top of the page.
  1. Click Workflows in the Module Menu, then under Search, click Workflows.

  1. Enter your search criteria.
  2. Click the Search button.

  1. Select the checkbox for each document you want move to the next workflow step.

  1. Click the Initiator Tools button for the workflow step, and click Skip Step.

  1. A window displays. Check that the documents listed are the ones you want to move, and enter the reason why the step is being skipped.
  2. Click the OK button to make the change to the workflow.

  1. Click the Close button in the confirmation message.
