How do I make a comment on a document without adding a markup?

You can create and save markups and Comments on any project drawing using the conject VCE - for more information on how to do this click here. You can add Comments without markups to any document or drawing on the conject Project Control. Both methods of creating Comments (ie, with and without markups) are acceptable ways of clearing documents sent to you for Action.

To add a comment to a document (or drawing):

  1. Open the document or drawingin the Default viewer or the conject VCE as appropriate
  2. Click Commentin the top right of the window - a new Comment window will open
  3. Click New Comment
  4. Complete the required details on the comment form and click Publish
  5. Check the issue list of the comment and click Issue to List

Rights: You need to have Create rights on the Comment process to be able to publish comments. If you don't have these rights, you will need to request them from a PIC.
