Send a Print Request to a Print Shop

Request a print shop to print the selected documents from a search result list or transmittal. You can choose delivery and payment options.

Tip!

  • If your preferred print shop isn't listed, ask them to register as an organization in Aconex. When they have completed the registration form, they should contact Service Desk immediately and explain that they are a print organization. If they do not, they will be set up as a normal organization instead. IF this happens, they will have to go through the registration process again.
  • You can set your default print shop in User Preferences.

Creating a print request from a search result list

  1. Choose your project in the Project Selector at the top of the page.
  1. Click the Documents button on the Module Menu, and under Search, click Document Register.
  1. Complete one or more search criteria fields.
  2. Click the Search button.
  1. Select the checkbox for each document you want printed.
  1. Click the Tools button and choose Submit Print Request
  1. Complete all mandatory fields, and any other fields as required.
  1. To change the printing requirements for a document:
    1. In the list of documents to be printed, click the Edit link for the document.
  1. Update print option fields as required, making sure that all mandatory fields are completed.
  2. Click the Save button.

Tip!

Don't see the print size you need? Contact your print shop and ask them to update their print schedule in Aconex.

  1. Click the Continue button.
  1. Review the print request, and then click the Send Request button.
     

Creating a print request from a transmittal

  1. Open a transmittal.
  2. Select the checkbox for each document you want printed.
  3. Click the Actions button and choose Submit Print Request.
  1. Complete the print request and send it as explained above.
