Send confidential mail

All project mail or transmittals you send are visible to all recipients and everyone in your organization - this article shows how to hide them by making them confidential.

If you have potentially sensitive mail that only certain people should have access to, you can mark it as confidential before sending it. This means that only the recipients of your mail will be able to view it. Before sending a mail, make sure you check for any automatic recipients set for your project. You can do this by choosing to Preview your mail before sending.

Tip!

Organization Administrators may choose to authorize some of their users to view all confidential mail received by their organization.

  1. Double click Mail.
  2. Then click New Mail
  3. Select the Type of mail you want to create.
  4. Fill in the other mail details as appropriate.
  5. Click the Options button. 
  6. Check Send as confidential mail.
  7. Press OK
  8. Click Send
