User Roles and Workflows

As the Organization Administrator, you can give Workflows permissions to people in your organization.

Who can create a workflow template?

Anybody with the user role of Document Administrator, Organization Administrator or Project Administrator has Workflow Administrator permissions by default.

Who can start a workflow?

We call this person the Workflow Initiator.

If your project hasn't modified the default Aconex user role settings, then anybody with the user role of Document Administrator, Project Administrator or Organization Administrator can start a workflow.

Who can review documents in a workflow?

Anybody working on your project in your organization, with any user role, can review a document in a workflow. You don't need to change someone's permissions if they only need to review documents in a workflow.
