Exporting to Excel from the Package Register

Setting up and exporting packages and column data to a spreadsheet.

In Aconex you can export the details of your packages to a spreadsheet quickly and easily using Export to Excel. This makes it easier to report on your Package Register, build statistics in Excel and add new information to your reports over time.

The export contains:

  • All the visible columns.
  • Filtered results.
  • Data from all pages.

Tip!

Note that when you run an export, it doesn't contain the actual documents or mail inside of the packages. Unlike other exports from Aconex which are normally sent to the Temporary folder, this file is downloaded to your local drive.

Setting up and running an export

  1. Open your Packages Register.
  2. Filter the register using the fields above the list.
  1. When you've done both of these your register might look something like the example above.
  2. Press Export to Excel to download the file to your computer.
  3. When you open the file it will look something like the example below.
