Disabling document auto-numbering

Learn how to turn auto-numbering off in your project documents.

By default, document auto-numbering is enabled for new projects, but project owners can disable it if they wish.

  1. Click Setup from the Module Menu, and then under Configuration, click Preferences.
  2. Click the Project tab.
  1. Scroll to the Project-wide Settings section.
  2. In the Documents section, in the Enable project wide auto-numbering of documents row.
  3. Clear the Use Default Setting and Setting checkboxes.
  4. Click the Save button.
