Project-wide security settings

If you're the project-owning organization you can control the password strength, password access rules and session duration for organizations participating on your project.

Use the Project-wide Security Settings when security processes and protocols are critical.

The Project-wide Security Settings override both: 

  1. the organization's preference settings
  2. a user’s preference settings (even for the other projects they are involved with).

Once you apply the Project-wide Security Settings an Organization Administrator only has the ability to make their organization's security settings more secure.

Tip!

If a user is involved with more than one project which has these settings implemented, then the settings of the project with the strongest rule will apply across all their projects.
