Add steps to a draft workflow template

It's easy to add steps to your draft workflow template.

You can edit draft templates to delete or add serial and parallel steps, where multiple reviews of documents take place at the same time.

Tip!

  • You can’t add steps to an active template.
  • Each step name must be unique within the template.

Before you start editing workflow templates, check with your Org Admin that you have permission to do so.

  1. Choose your project from the Project Selector at the top of the page.
  1. Click Workflows in the Module Menu, and under Search, click Templates.
  1. Click the Drafts tab.
  2. Enter your search criteria and click the Search button.
  1. You'll see your search results. Click the name of the template you want to edit to open it.
  1. Scroll down to the Template Builder section.
  2. Drag and drop each new step into the desired position in the workflow.
  1. If you need to, edit workflow steps to add details to each one.
  2. Click the Save to Draft button to save your edited Workflow Template.
