Remove an organization from a tender

You can remove an organization from your tender invitation at any point during the tendering process.

What happens when I remove an organization?

When you remove an organization you won't be able to re-invite it.

Recipients from the organization will not:

  • receive any further invitation updates
  • be able to respond to your tender.

When the recipients view the tender, they'll see the status is Removed. They'll also be able to see the name of the person that removed their organization, and the date they were removed.

If you accidentally removed an organization from a tender, you can't add them back. However, as a workaround, you can create a new guest user with the same contact details and send the invitation to them.

Users in North America will generally see Bid  used in the Aconex interface instead of Tender to conform to local usage. The functionality is the same.

How do I remove an organization?

  1. Choose your project from the Project Selector at the top of the page.
  2. Click Tenders.
  3. Under Search, click Invitations.
