In release 22.06.100 you'll find a new way to get help in Aconex, schedule activity in Packages, and it's easier to log defects using Field.

A new way to get help

  • A new widget, powered by Oracle Guided Learning, is available to offer intuitive help in Aconex.
  • Click the widget for relevant videos and links to helpful Support Central articles.
  • You can drag-and-drop the widget around your Aconex screen so it's always in the best place for what you're doing.
  • Get help, in Aconex, when you need it and at any time, with links to the best Support Central article for more complex tasks.

Filter project fields on Mobile

  • Project fields are now available to search and filter your documents.

We fixed two bugs

  • We've restored the option to set the Review Status to None when superseding a document in the classic upload.
  • We've fixed the rare error that occurred when fetching records in the Document Register. You should no longer see a 503 gateway error.

What's new

Aconex meets Oracle Primavera Cloud

  • Package Admins, see your Oracle Primavera Cloud schedule data directly in Aconex.
  • No more emailing schedulers. Once linked, schedule data is available when you load the page. 
  • When you've connected your Aconex and Primavera Cloud projects, you'll see a new Schedule project field. This system defined project field can then be added to your individual package types.You can then assign a schedule activity to a package.
  • If you've assigned a schedule activity to a package, you can see the activity in the schedule tab. This is read-only and is updated in Oracle Primavera Cloud.
  • Use your Lobby account to link your projects.

More ways to attach Mail

  • We've added a new way to attach Mail when sending a Package.
  • You can attach Mail:
    • From the inbox
    • From the sent box
    • And now from the transmitted section.

Improvements and fixes

Better saved searches

  • We've made saved searches more consistent; matching the behaviour you see in Documents.
  • You'll see a pencil icon next to any saved searches you have permission to edit.
  • You can't see org-wide searches for other orgs.

We fixed some bugs

  • Documents inside a Packages showed a different revision date on EU1. This is fixed and the correct date is recorded.
  • We've updated the date/time stamp appended to Package register export to excel and CSV. It now has the format ExportPackages-yyyymmdd_hh-mm-ss.

Mobile

What's new

Faster Mobile uploads

  • Now you can sync your offline mobile updates faster.
  • We've added upload queues for each module, allowing simultaneous uploads.
  • New messaging shows which modules have data to upload and any sync errors.
  • We started with Documents and Field. Other modules will roll out during the release period.

Easier defect logging

  • Project Admins and Inspectors, you can add multiple defect aspects in each line item. 
  • For example, the project fields Tap not installed, and Water leak can all be linked to Sink installation.
  • Available on both web and mobile. 

Models

What's new

See grids in Revit files

  • Revit format files loaded into model stacks now have grids.
  • Grids can be turned on or off, similar to with ifc files.

Get close up with 3D sectioned views

  • You can now get a better view of design issues in Revit.
  • See approximated 3D sectioned views to get more information to help understand where an issue is.
  • Apply complex sectioning to the 3D sectioned view while creating the design issue to activate the view.

Design issues admin in the plugin

  • BIM Admins, you can now edit design issues directly via the plugin.

We fixed a bug

  • A bug in the Model coordination plugin caused the ribbon toolbar to freeze when changing projects. This has been fixed.

What's new

Cost data in custom reports

  • You can now create custom reports with cost data.
  • Copy and customize one of five new standard reports or create a new one from scratch.
  • Includes four main subject areas: contracts, contract changes, payment applications, and change events.
  • You can mix multiple data sets and show graphs and tables in the same report. 
  • Reports can be shared with your project or org, or you can keep it private for just you.
  • Available on AU1, MEA, and KSA1. It will be added to other instances in future releases.

Improvements and fixes

Two bugs are gone

  • An error in the Daily Reports Summary graph showed the weather as a sum, not an average. The average temperature now displays. 
  • An error caused the Issues by Organization graph to display incorrectly in the Field Issues report. This bug is fixed and the graph displays as expected.

Auto-numbering in the API

  • Our API now supports autonumbering for Documents.
  • Document Schema and Register Document API users no longer need to specify a document number.
