  • General Contractors who want to see upstream impacts quickly
  • Reviewers looking for data insights in workflows.

Mail

Improvements and fixes

Linking to Mail

  • Now you can share links to specific Mail messages.
  • This much requested feature makes it faster to share mail to your team.
  • You'll still need to be in the same organization and project to view the mail.
  • Use the Add/Remove Columns button to add hyperlinks to any mailbox.
  • Hyperlinks will be included when exporting mail to Excel as a report.

Packages

Improvements and fixes

More integration with Oracle Primavera Cloud

  • See your Oracle Primavera Cloud Activity ID and Activity Name data in the package registry.
  • Add the Primavera Cloud Scheduled Activity column to see the data.
  • We'll place both data points in the one column, making it easier to see when you have multiple packages.

Using more special characters

  • We've added more special characters to the auto-numbering schema. Now you can save packages using special characters in the following fields:
    • organization code
    • project code
    • package type code
    • project field code
    • delimiter.

Fixing a bug

  • We fixed a bug that caused an error when removing mail from a package.

Mobile

What's new

Share punchlists on the go

  • Now you can share punchlists, directly from your mobile device.
  • We've rearranged the punchlists details screen. Now you can edit and see more details, including details about the organization you've shared punchlists with.

Improvements and fixes

Punchlist issues can now be removed on Mobile

  • Have you ever accidentally added an extra issue to a punchlist?
  • Now you can remove issues that you added by mistake.
  • You'll see a Remove option on the punchlists page.
  • Up to 300 issues can be removed at a time.
  • You can still find issues removed from punchlists in the Issues list.

Letting you see more on Mobile

  • Have you ever wanted to see details of an issue, but its issue type was deleted? With this release you can see them on mobile.
  • See values entered in a custom field when the issue type has been deleted.
  • Previously, you could only see these details on Aconex web.

Field

What's new

Filter inspections by date

  • You can now filter inspections by created or last modified dates.
  • Choose from the following five quick options:
    • Any time
    • Today
    • Yesterday
    • In the last 7 days
    • Custom Range.

Cost

What's new

Upstream contract links are here

  • Now change events to your upstream contracts will automatically update upstream contract pay items, the cost worksheet, and change events.
  • This lets you quickly manage changes impacting both your project owner and subcontractors.
  • The contract links capture both upstream and downstream links in one line, so it's easier to understand cost and revenue impacts to the project.
  • Upstream contract data is visible on the change event and cost worksheet grids.

New options for change events

  • In the organization settings you can now set default change event statuses.
  • With this release you can set defaults for Budget Status and Cost Status.

Improvements and fixes

More support for large Oracle Primavera Cloud projects

  • We've updated the integration with Cost. It now supports projects with more than 5,000 scheduled activities.

Adding better currency support

  • When you import contracts with a new currency, we automatically add it to the project's currency list.
  • You can then manually update the currency's exchange rate.
  • For example, British Pound will be added to the project currency list as the contract spreadsheet is imported.

Insights

What's new

See more Workflows with a new report

  • See which workflows are at risk with this new out of the box report.
  • The Workflow Documents - Insights report can be viewed from your standard reports list.

Improvements and fixes

Organization reports in more instances

  • Hosted Name User and User Details, Assignment & Configuration reports are now available on HK1 and CN1.
  • Org Admins can automatically access these reports and grant access for others.

We fixed a bug

  • A bug occurred when you were editing the Mail thread report. We've fixed the issue; please generate and save your reports again to ensure they're editable.

Setup

What's new

A new custom permissions role

  • Org Admins, allow others in your organization to assign project-level permissions.
  • A new secured asset is on the User Role Configuration page.
  • This saves you time as you can delegate just the user role assignment task for projects to a different person in the organization.

Directory

Improvements and fixes

Getting the housekeeping done

  • We're hiding inactive accounts in the Global Directory and organizations will not be able to invite them to projects.
  • An inactive account is any account after 12 months of inactivity.
  • We'll send an email to these users letting them know their account is inactive and give them a chance to log in to reactivate their accounts.

Aconex

What's new

Starting in January

  • You'll start seeing the new, simplified login screen we announced in September.
  • We're gradually rolling out the new screen over January and February.
  • Making it easier, just enter your login name or email address and you'll be taken to the correct screen to access Aconex.
  • This applies if you log in using a login name and password, 2SV, SSO, or the Lobby, and saves you having to remember which login screen to use.
  • Read more about the new way to log in

We'll start the release on December 7, but it depends on what instance your project is on. Some updates will be released later in the 30-day release cycle.
