Selecting the right values

• When filtering multi-select project fields you'll now only see values that have been used in your documents, rather than the full list. This reduces the chance of finding no results.
• As a bonus, the values now sort alphabetically, helping you find your documents even faster.

Note: This change only applies to new project fields created after the release date. If you haven't already, subscribe to release notes, and we'll let you know when it's applied to existing project fields.

Status updates

• We've reinstated a behavior that was changed in November 2022.
• While updating a document, its status was retained, even if that status wasn't allocated to the organization updating the document.
• Many of you told us this caused problems for your subcontractors, so we've reverted the change back to its original behavior.
• Now, if you update a document and the existing status on the document isn't allocated to your organization, you'll need to choose a new status.  

We fixed a bug

• You'll be pleased to know we removed that pesky extra space appearing on your Document Types in exported Excel files.

Tidying up

• The security profile 'Cost Workspace Collaborator' has been renamed to 'System Limited' to better describe its use. This profile is for users who need access to an external workspace, but should not have access to their own organization's cost data. It's commonly used for organizations providing consulting services to a general contractor or project owner.
• Control accounts with work packages and/or progress packages now display the summary of the percent complete correctly.
• When multiple users add budget changes in Cost at the same time, new budget change items now display in the correct budget change.
• We removed the project selector from the Responsibility Assignments screen. If you need to define responsibility assignments for different projects, you can change projects using the main Aconex project selector at the top.

Clearer messaging

• We've clarified messaging that appears when sharing a contract that has not been connected to a downstream organization.
• We also now explain why a control account can't be deleted, instead of showing you a generic error code.

We cleared some bugs

• Field reports now display an organization's trading name instead of the full name. The trading name is what's used in other areas of Aconex.
• The Project Overview and Document-based reports will now run, even if you don't have any documents in your register.
• The scrollbar on the report listing page now lets you scroll all the way down to see all available reports.
