This release is for:
- Project Admins who need to create relationships in mail form fields.
- Package users who will experience a new-look packages search.
- Inspectors who need to view inspection attachments on site.
- Cost Admins looking to save some time.
- Lobby Admins looking for users across all their organizations.
What's new
A new look for mail form and restricted field settings
- We've updated the look and feel when configuring mail forms and restricted fields.
- Fields can now be dropped in place in the exact order you want them to appear. Previously each field had to be added and manually ordered.
- Reordering a form is easy using the move icon to the right of each field. No more clicking the up and down arrows to get the ordering right - just drag and drop.
- Easily see which project fields are in use on the selected mail type by looking under the Fields in Use section.
- For consistency, we've removed the option to create project fields within mail forms. These can only be created from the specific project fields screen.
- Restricted fields are created as normal by clicking +New.
- Enter the details of a new restricted field from the new-look side panel.
- We've also correctly labelled this screen as Restricted Fields. Previously the label on this screen incorrectly named them Project Fields, but they are a separate list of fields.
Mobile
What's new
Viewing inspection attachments
- Last month we introduced a feature to attach files to inspection templates.
- Inspectors can now view these attachments when starting an inspection on their mobile device.
Packages
What's new
A new look for searching packages
- Experience a new way to find your packages, with an updated search.
- With the new-look packages search, you'll enjoy the following features:
- A cleaner, modern interface to help you find packages faster.
- A new More Filters panel to manage your search filters.
- Filter multiple values to see results for many types and statuses.
- Pin your favorite filters so you only see what you use.
- A Package Management menu to create/delete packages, and for bulk actions on selected packages.
- A new actions column (three dots menu) for individual package options.
- Click Try the new Packages Search from the Package menu today.
- You can switch back to the classic search for now. The classic search will be retired soon, so we recommend you try out the new features.
- Saved searches created in the new search are not visible in the classic search.

Seeing more details
- Easily see the number of attachments in payment applications and contract changes. The Attachments Total column can be added to reports to help you filter results by number of attachments.
- When a contract change and change event is linked, you'll now see the change event no. in:
- The contract change order item.
- The contract change pay item subject areas in single/multi record reports.
- Contract change items.
- Contract change items configured calculated fields.
Making things easier
- The contract change pay item No. can now be updated in bulk via import instead of manually updating records individually.
- We've improved the error messages while deleting markup items with links, to help you find and update related records.
- You can now create contracts without pay items. Previously contracts had to contain at least one pay item which prevented you from deleting it.
- Payment application explanations can now be added while requesting a revision. Previously, explanations could only be added in draft mode.
We fixed these bugs
- We've updated the error messages in the control element category import so it's clear which fields you need to correct.
- Now, only authorized users can view the project list in the cost enabled projects page.
- The budget method no longer changes in a new control element after creating a change event item.

Updates for copy project
These project preferences now copy to new projects:
- Load search results on landing (Documents, Drawings, Temporary Files).
- Configure default sorting order for search results. This preference also now appears in the Project Settings Report.

What's new
View all users in one place
UPDATE: This feature has been delayed to a future release.
Reminder: From early 2024, all users will need to access Aconex using a Lobby account. Need a Lobby account? Create one yourself now. Alternatively, Org Admins can create Lobby accounts for all users in an organization.

ProjectID field available from control elements
- The ProjectID can now be directly fetched from the control element GET method.
- This is useful for calling data from multiple projects.

We'll start the release on October 11 but it depends on what instance your project is on. Some updates will be released later in the 30-day release cycle.
All instances. US2 will be updated after its change freeze period ends.
Release schedule
We take a staggered approach when rolling out features and improvements to each instance. This means that on the release date, you may not see all updates immediately. Features are progressively rolled out over a 30-day period, starting from the indicated release dates below. We can’t guarantee a global rollout of features across instances within the same timeframe. Features that are not available on all instances are listed here.
