August 2025

This month there's an easier way to track package reviews, a new feature to export model object properties, and you can send more on a tender invitation.

This release is for:
  • Those who create, edit, or export packages.
  • Package admins who need to keep track of reviews.
  • Model coordinators who requested the ability to export object properties.
  • Tender admins who need to send more documents on an invitation.

Packages

What's new

A new look for creating and editing packages

  • It's easier to create and edit packages with this modern update.
  • Instead of scrolling through a long list of fields, now you can quickly navigate and enter the package details across four tabs:

Check your package reviews at a glance

  • Do you manage multiple package reviews? Now you can see the status of each review directly from the package register, so you no longer have to switch between different screens to get an update.
  • Add these new columns to your register to get the details:
    • Package Review Details is a combination of the review number and the review name.
    • Package Review Status shows the status (either In-progress or Completed). Completed reviews include the review outcome such as Approved.
  • Once you've filtered for the packages you need, you can export the details for further review.

Export with hierarchies

  • If you use package hierarchies on your project, you can export your packages while preserving the hierarchical folder structure.
  • The hierarchical export matches the package hierarchy on your project, with each folder nested under its parent.

Models

What's new

View and export object properties

  • Thanks to your feedback, you can now extract object properties from your models for further analysis.
  • The new Selected Objects tool helps you create a specific list of objects and their properties. You can then export to Excel to review or import into other applications.
  • This is useful to ensure the model meets the required standards and project specifications. Plus it can help you determine what materials are required for construction.
  • Select the objects (in the viewer, explorer tree, or from a search), decide what properties you want to see, then export the list.

Improvements and fixes

Find objects by location

  • You can now find objects in an IFC model using location properties in Object Search.
  • Search by LevelSpace, or Local Relative To.

Tenders

What's new

More documents in your invitation

  • Thanks for letting us know you wanted to work with more documents in tenders.
  • Now you can send up to 3,000 documents on a tender invitation.
  • We also removed the 200 document limitation on zip downloads, so you can download all the documents from the tender in one go.

Field

What's new

Retiring classic issues

  • A reminder that we'll retire the classic Issues view by end August 2025. After this date, you will only be able to use the new view.
  • If you haven't already, please switch to the new view today.

Documents

What's new

Refresh your hierarchies... but just once

  • After successfully refreshing your hierarchies, this option will be greyed out to avoid it being clicked multiple times. You only need to refresh once.

Cost

What's new

We fixed some bugs

  • If you use copy and paste to create a control account, the activity is now captured in the cost activity stream.
  • When budget markup and cost markup are entered in percentages, the budget and cost markup values are now rounded to currency specific decimal values.
  • We tidied up the column ordering on the grid for tags, configured manual fields, and configured calculated fields.

API

Improvements and fixes

Supporting large file uploads

  • If you've tried uploading a large file (1.2GB and above) using the chunk method you may have encountered an error.
  • To resolve this we've modified the filesize attribute to accept decimal values as well as integers.
  • View the Register Document API.

Search by workflow number

Unique responses in Supplier Documents

  • Thanks to your feedback we added the DocVersion field to the Supplier Documents API, so you can uniquely identify the returned results.

Supporting mail marked as No Action Required

  • The Mail API has been updated so you can retrieve information on mail marked as No Action Required.

We'll gradually release each update over a 30-day period starting August 23.

These updates will be made available to all instances.
