The Roundup featuring releases December 2022 through to March 2023

Welcome to the first Roundup for 2023. We'll take a look back at some of the biggest improvements to Aconex from the last few months. In this issue we revisit releases December 2022 through to March 2023, and highlight some features you may have missed.

Save time and increase data accuracy in Documents

  • Now you can import your Specification Manuals to generate a template with submittal items pre-loaded.
  • Simply, choose the new Specification Reader item on the Documents menu to start.
  • This template can then be used to bulk import project field values or create submittal placeholders.

Bulk markups in a click

  • With bulk annotations, you can add markups to your document pages with a single click.
  • Place a markup in one location and click Bulk Annotation to start adding it to the other pages.
  • And, you can now publish markups on up to 200 documents at once.

Upstream contracts with automatic updates

  • Now change events to your upstream contracts will automatically update upstream contract pay items, the cost worksheet, and change events.
  • This lets you quickly manage and see changes impacting both your project owner and subcontractors.
  • The contract links capture both upstream and downstream links in one line.

Coordinate faster in Models

  • New offline storage makes your models load super-fast.
  • You can now directly upload and import models files between the Documents Register and the plugin.
  • A new menu helps you navigate within Models faster.

Noteworthy mentions

  • Report histories in Insights: run a report and download it later. You can also see if it's in progress, completed, or failed.
  • Many new Mobile features: saved searches, share punchlists, filter inspections, and manage issues in punchlists.
