  • Test plan managers who need to find test plans ready to submit.
  • Tender initiators who want to provide read-only access to an invitation.
  • Data analysts who want to track project adoption over specific time periods.
  • Admins who need to tidy up unused review outcomes.

Workflows

What's new

Stamp your way

  • We heard you! Now when reviewing a document in workflows, you can tailor your dynamic stamps to the way you work.
  • You decide if you want to include the logo, review outcome, document number with revision, and the disclaimer.
  • We've also enhanced the image quality of the stamp to high-resolution so it's easier to read.
  • We'll remember your settings for next time, so you can add your stamps even faster.

Field

What's new

Find test plans ready to submit

  • The new Ready to Submit status helps you find test plans that are complete and ready for submission. You no longer have to check each test plan separately.
  • Once all activities in a test plan have been completed, the test plan status will automatically change to Ready to Submit.
  • If an activity in a Ready to Submit test plan is reopened, the test plan status changes to In Progress.
  • If an approver is not satisfied with a test plan they can select Request Resubmit, and the test plan status returns to Ready to Submit.
  • If a manager withdraws a submission, the status returns to Ready to Submit.
  • When a test plan is reopened, the status changes to Ready to Submit (instead of In Progress).
  • Also available on Oracle Aconex Mobile.

Improvements and fixes

Filter test plans across multiple locations

  • You can now select multiple locations when filtering your test plans.

More details in the test plan list

  • You can now see the approver and creator of each test plan, so you know who has permission to make changes to it.

Enhance your punchlist report

  • Punchlists exported to PDF now provide up to 25 high resolution images to help you see important details.
  • We've also updated the layout of the report to align with the details you see on screen. This makes the report easier to read.

Image descriptions in issues exports

  • You'll now see image descriptions when you export your issues to PDF. This provides more context for each photo.

Tenders

What's new

Provide read-only access to a tender invitation

  • When creating or updating a tender invitation you can now add observers to provide read-only access.
  • Observers can view the tender and zip download documents but cannot respond to it.
  • This helps you give users and other organizations access to view the tender, without allowing them to make changes or create submissions.

Insights

Improvements and fixes

Analyze adoption trends between specific dates

  • The Project Activity Report now lets you set a custom date range of up to 24 months.
  • This helps you track adoption over longer periods or specific project phases.

Cost

What's new

Request an explanation when approving lower amounts

  • Currently in Payment Applications (Progress Claims), reviewers can approve a lower amount than what was originally requested, without providing a reason.
  • With a new setting enabled, the approver must provide an explanation for approving an amount less than what was requested.
  • The setting Require Explanation when Accepted is less than Requested is available at both the organization and project level.

Improvements and fixes

Track tag changes

  • Tag-related actions will now generate activity records in the Cost Activity Stream. This applies to tag changes made by both internal users and shared workspace users.
  • This helps you track who made changes to a tag and when.

Documents

Improvements and fixes

Extract zip files with the enhanced upload

  • The new enhanced upload now supports zip file extraction.
  • With your upload profile set to extract zip files, the contents of an uploaded zip file will be extracted into your temporary files area as individual files.
  • If you don't want this to happen, you can uncheck the setting in your upload profile and your zip file be registered as a single document without being unzipped.
  • There is no separate screen to upload zip files.
  • This behavior also applies to the new bulk processing.

Document Processes

Improvements and fixes

Clearer document filter criteria

  • You let us know the document filter criteria for a review rule was not easy to follow, especially if multiple filters are used.
  • A new filter summary helps you quickly understand the selected filters for a rule.
  • This helps you make changes faster with less errors.

Check reviewer progress at a glance

  • It's easier for lead reviewers to check the progress of their reviews.
  • The new Reviewer progress column shows how many steps are in progress or completed. You no longer need to go into each step to check this.

Delete review outcome sets

  • Project Admins can now delete outcome sets that are not being used in review rules or package review templates.
  • This helps you keep your list of outcome sets tidy.

Start a review from a transmittal

  • To save time, you can now start a document process review from a transmittal.

See when an issue was closed

  • You'll now find the Closed date column in the issues register to see when each issue was closed.

Packages

Improvements and fixes

Roll back to a previous package number

  • If you've accidently changed a package to the wrong number, you can now edit the package and change back to the previous package number. All other metadata remains the same.
  • Existing behavior remains the same. Numbers previously used in a package cannot be reused for a new package. You can reuse a number from a deleted package.

More details in transmittal history

  • Package transmittal history now includes received transmittals, so you can filter between sent, received or all transmittals.
  • If you export the transmittal history to Excel, you'll find details for Sent, Received and All as separate worksheets.
  • We've also given the transmittal history screen a modern look and feel to align with other screens.

A new-look for related packages

  • The related packages screen has a modern look and feel to align with other screens.

Mobile

Improvements and fixes

Sign in with your Lobby account

  • You can now only access the mobile app using your Lobby account.
  • If you try to access using an Aconex account, you'll see a message to upgrade to a Lobby account.
  • This aligns with the login flow on the web application where all users must use a Lobby account to access Aconex.
  • As before, if you need to access the AU2 or Early Access instance you can tap the Show other sign in methods option.

Add descriptions to image attachments

  • To align with the web application, you can now add a description to any files (including images) you attach to an issue.
  • We've also updated the label from Comment to Description to clarify its purpose.

Capture multiple photos for test plan activities

  • If you're using an Android device, you can now capture up to 15 photos or videos at a time to test plan activities. This matches the behavior already available for iOS devices.

Find issues for punchlists

  • Filtering for None in the Listed In filter helps you find issues that have not been added to a punchlist. From there, you can move the issues into the appropriate punchlist.
