Open a Project Archive on the installation computer or from a computer on your local network.

Open an Archive on the installation computer

To access a Project Archive from the computer on which it’s installed, you have two options:

  • From the Windows Start Menu, click All Programs > Project Archive > Archive Viewer.
  • Open your browser and navigate to http://localhost:9000/archiveviewer.

Open an Archive from a computer on your local network

If others need to open a Project Archive using computers on your local network, they'll need to know the URL for accessing the Archive Viewer service.

This URL can use either the:

  • IP address of the computer running the Archive Viewer Service, for example: http://192.168.0.12:9000/archiveviewer
  • DNS name, for example: http://OfficeServer:9000/archiveviewer.
