Open the Local Copy Viewer on the installation computer

To open the Local Copy Viewer on the computer it’s installed on, you can either:

  • open the Windows Start menu, and click All Programs > Aconex > Local Copy > Local Copy Viewer, or

  • open your browser and go to the address http://localhost:9443/localcopyviewer.

Open the Local Copy Manager on the installation computer

To access the Local Copy Manager on the computer it’s installed on, you can either:

  • open the Windows Start menu, and click All Programs > Aconex > Local Copy > Local Copy Manager, or

  • open your browser and go to the address http://localhost:9443/localcopymanager.

Open the Local Copy Viewer from a computer on the local network

Users who want to open the Local Copy Viewer from other computers on your local network will need to know the relevant URL.

This URL can use an:

  • intranet address for the Aconex Local Copy Service, for example, localcopyviewer.intranet.yourcompany.com.

  • IP address of the computer running the Aconex Local Copy Service, for example, http://192.168.0.12:9443/localcopyviewer.

  • DNS name, for example, http://OfficeServer:9443/localcopyviewer.

Users can enter this URL into their browser’s address bar to open the Viewer.

Open the Local Copy Manager from a computer on the local network

Users who want to open the Local Copy Manager from other computers on your local network will need to know the relevant URL.

This URL can use an:

  • intranet address for the Aconex Local Copy Service, for example, localcopymanager.intranet.yourcompany.com.

  • IP address of the computer running the Aconex Local Copy service, for example, http://192.168.0.12:9443/localcopymanager, or

  • DNS name, for example, http://OfficeServer:9443/localcopymanager.

Users can enter this URL into their browser’s address bar to open the Manager.
