Start a review in Document Processes

Select documents and initiate a review for them using Document Processes.

Initiate a document process

Before you begin, the Project Administrator will need to configure the Review Matrix so the documents will match a review rule. You can start document processes for up to 500 documents at once. 

Once started, each document is automatically put into review by matching document metadata (such as type or discipline) against the rules configured in the Review Matrix.

Hinweis

Document Processes is currently only available to projects on the KSA1 and MEA Aconex instances. We'll continue to develop features based on feedback and announce availability for other Aconex instances at a later date. Make sure you subscribe to Release Highlights to be notified.
  1. From the main navigation menu, click Documents and select Document Register.
  2. Search for the documents you want to review.
  3. Select the documents to review and click Start Document Process.

Hinweis

You cannot review documents that are already being reviewed.

4. The review matrix will display the review rules that match your selected documents. Check that the rules have been applied as expected and the appropriate people are selected to review the documents.

5. (Optional) Edit the review process by clicking the three dots menu next to a document and clicking Edit Review Process. Alternatively you can make changes directly in the grid.

6. If you are happy with the selection click Start to begin the review.

  1. Each document is now in review and managed as a separate deliverable.
  1. The process owner must provide a QA Outcome to allow the review to proceed.

Hinweis

Anyone who is involved in a deliverable can view it, including all users from their organization.
