Open a project in the Local Copy viewer

Access the project you need to work with.

  1. Open the Aconex Local Copy Viewer from the Windows Start menu. Click Start > All Programs > Aconex > Local Copy > Local Copy Viewer.

Nota

You can also open the Local Copy Viewer from a computer on your local network. Ask your Local Copy Administrator for the Local Copy Viewer URL.

  1. Find the datastore you want to use in the Datastore List, and double-click to open it.

Nota

Click the Refresh button to update the list to show new datastores.

  1. If you’re asked to, enter the datastore password in the Password field, and click the OK button.

Nota

The datastore password isn’t your Aconex password. Ask your Local Copy Administrator for the datastore password if you need to.

  1. You’ll see a confirmation message that the datastore has loaded. Click the buttons to view documents and mail.
