Follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve problems in clash
Clash in the Cloud is available for projects enabled with Model Coordination, from the April 2023 release.
If you don't see the options to create or edit spaces, you may not have permission.
Your organization needs to be enabled access under Model Coordination Management. The project-owning organization does this from Project settings.
You also need the Model Coordination Administrator permission granted to your user role. You may need to ask your Organization Administrator to grant this permission.
Check that all models to be tested have been uploaded to the document register and added to model stacks in Models Explore. Local file model stacks are not supported.
Clash tests can present unexpected or missing results for the following reasons:
When a test has a problem, an icon will appear beside the test name. Click on the test name to view a message about the problem.
The latest revision of a model/s in a test has not processed successfully
In this scenario, the message will advise of the model(s) and their revision which cannot be displayed.
Results are still displayed because the last working revision of the model is used. When inspecting clashes in the test in the viewer, a banner will remind you that there is a problem with the model(s).
See Troubleshoot model processing issues for steps to troubleshoot and resolve processing issues with your files.
The clash analysis has not processed successfully for models in the tests
In this scenario, the message will advise that the system is unable to analyze clashes in the models and no results will be displayed. Please contact us.
Models used in the tests are not visible to all collaborators in the clash space
In this scenario, the message will advise that one or more models in the test are not available, and no results will be displayed. This message occurs when models aren’t shared with you in the space, or models that were shared have been removed from model stacks in Models Explore.
Please contact the space owner to ensure models used in the tests are visible to all space collaborators.
Once a test has been saved in a clash space, it will run automatically whenever a model is updated on the Aconex document register. Tests will be visible for all organizations invited in a clash space and that have access to the models included in a test. If you need more information about how to share models, please see Transmit your document.
Model(s) used in the test have been removed from model stacks
If you are a space owner and model(s) have been removed from model stacks, the message is slightly different.
It will advise that one or more models are not in use. Click Update clash test to change the models used in the test.
