Microsoft Edge: Recommended Configuration

Follow this guide on setting up Microsoft Edge for the best Aconex experience.

Clear cookies and cache

Your browser stores information from websites and uses this cached information instead of downloading the information again to improve browsing speed. If you’re having an issue with Aconex, clearing your cookies and cache may fix the problem.

  1. From the options menu, click Settings.
  1. Select Privacy, search, and services and click Choose what to clear.
  1. Choose All time from the Time range list.
  2. Select the Cookies and other site data checkbox.
  3. Select the Cached images and files checkbox.
  4. Click Clear now.

Allowing cookies for Aconex Websites

If you’ve set your browser to not accept cookies, you can change your setting to allow cookies from Aconex websites.

  1. From the options menu, click Settings.
  1. Click Cookies and site permissions.
  2. Click Manage and delete cookies and site data.
  1. In the Allow section, click Add
  2. Enter the web address for the Aconex instance you access. eg: au1.aconex.com
  3. Click Add.
  4. Repeat the above steps for other instances.

Allowing Popups for Aconex Websites

If you’ve set your browser to block popups, you can change your setting to allow popups from Aconex websites.

  1. From the options menu select Settings.
  1. Click Cookies and site permissions.
  2. Under All permissions select Pop-ups and redirects.
  1. In the Allow section, click Add
  2. Enter the web address for the Aconex instance you access. eg: au1.aconex.com
  3. Click Add.
  4. Repeat the above steps for other instances.

Tip!
