Hardware and software requirements for installing Project Archive
Do you have the hardware and software you need to install your Project Archive?
Tip!
Important: Do not run archives from cloud synced services (such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox) or drives/folders mapped directly to those cloud services. These services can create multiple versions or copies of files during synchronization, causing data corruption or loss. For backup or sharing purposes you can store your archives using these services but avoid actively using or opening it.
Hardware
To create a Project Archive your computer must meet the following minimum requirements:

1.5 GHz Intel Pentium Processor (or equivalent).

Minimum of 2 GB of system memory (4 GB recommended).
Tip!
In order to copy the Project Archive to your hard disk, you’ll need sufficient disk space available depending on the volume of data in the archive.
Software
To create a Project Archive you need:
- A computer running one of the following operating systems as a minimum: Microsoft Windows 7, 10, 11, or Windows Server 2019.
- Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, or Microsoft Edge as your default browser.
- Java Runtime Environment (JRE) Java is required to download project data and view your archive.
(Please ensure that for 64bit OS you are running 64bit Java).
