Starting the Local Copy Service

You can restart the Local Copy Service if it has been stopped—for example, due to a server restart. Follow the steps below for your operating system.

  1. From the Start Menu menu, click All Programs > Aconex > Local Copy > Administration > Start Local Copy Service. Note that you may need Administrator privileges to run the program.

Tip!

If you've installed Local Copy as a Windows service, Local Copy will always be running.

Stopping the Local Copy Service

You can stop the Local Copy Service if you need to. Follow the steps below for your operating system.

  1. From the Start Menu menu, click All Programs > Aconex > Local Copy > Administration > Stop Local Copy Service. Note that you may need Admin privileges to run the program.
