Importing Direct Actuals

Direct Actuals are imported into the current reporting period and are either Cost, Quantity, or Hours, depending on the Control Element type.

Direct Actuals are one type of actual costs which are captured in Cost (the others are Contract Actuals). These are imported into the current reporting period, and often come from your corporate finance or ERP system.

Tip!

Direct Actuals are always imported into the current reporting period. Ensure you are in the correct period before running an import.

Importing Direct Actuals

  1. Go to Direct Actuals in Cost.
  2. Click the Import button in the toolbar, then select Import from CSV.
  3. Click Download Template.
  4. Complete the template and save it.
  5. Click Browse to find your CSV file.
  6. Select Delete all existing records and replace, if you want to use this data to replace any existing data.
  7. Click Import.
