Reassign an issue to someone else

If an issue you’re working on needs attention from another organization, here's how you can reassign it to them.

As an Inspector and above, if an issue being worked on needs attention from someone else, it can be assigned back to:

  • your organization,
  • a different user in your organization, or:
  • a different organization. 

Issues can be reassigned in Field, or using the mobile app.

Reassigning an issue in Field

  1. When you select a specific issue in the Issues list, you will see that each issue has an Assigned to section in the panel on the right-hand side. This shows the organization or individual user the issue is assigned to.
  1. Click on the pencil icon on the right-hand side panel to open the issue in edit mode. Use the drop-down list next to Assigned to to select an organisation or specific user and click Save.
  1. The issue has now been reassigned as per your selection.

Assign mulitple issues in bulk

  1. Select the issues you want to assign.
  2. Click Edit assignees.
  1. Choose the organization or person in your org, you want to assign the issues to.
  2. Click Continue.
  1. You will receive a confirmation that the issues have been assigned. Click Close.
