Add, view and export issue comments in Field

Work with comments across issues in Field.

Comments can be added, viewed and exported in both Aconex and Oracle Aconex Mobile. See working with comments in Oracle Aconex Mobile.

Add a comment

  1. From the main navigation menu, click Field and select Issues.
  2. Click on the issue you want to add a comment to.
  3. (Optional) Assign the issue to the appropriate organization.
  4. Scroll down to the comments section.
  5. Click the To field and choose the organization you want the comment to be visible to, or select Everyone to add a public comment that is visible to all involved organizations.
  6. Enter your comment.
  7. Click Post.

View issue comments

  1. From the main navigation menu, click Field and select Issues.
  2. Click on the issue you want to view comments for.
  3. Scroll down to the comments section.
  4. View the existing comments. You can search comments or filter by organization.

Tip!

You can view public comments on a shared issue if the organization has also chosen to share their public comments with you.

Export comments

  1. From the main navigation menu, click Field and select Issues.
  2. Select one or more issues.
  3. Click Export and select PDF, Excel, or CSV from the drop down list.

Tip!

Comments can only be exported in PDF and Excel reports. 

  1. Check Comments.
  2. Choose All threads to export comments with all organizations (including public comments), or Current thread to export comments with the currently assigned organization.
  3. Click Export.
