Tag the documents you're submitting for Handover Manuals using Supplier Documents

Follow these instructions if you're submitting your documents using the Supplier Documents module.

Getting the tagging right on the O&M documents you’re submitting to the Head Contractor for a Handover Manual is key. Do it right the first time, and you’ll save a lot of back-and-forth with the client.

You need to tag each document you submit with a:

It’s easiest to do this when you’re uploading the document to the Document Register.

  1. First, update the document’s revision number or letter and date.
  2. Choose a Status for the document.
  3. Choose a Discipline for the document.
  4. Choose a Type for the document.
  5. If you prepared an Asset Reference List in Step 5, select the relevant Asset Reference.
  1. Click the Upload button.
  2. Share the document with the Head Contractor, following step 7 of the Supplier Guide.

Tip!

Tagging multiple documents at once? Supersede the affected documents in bulk.

Already uploaded documents, but didn’t tag them?

No problem.

  1. Search for the document you want to tag.
  2. Click on the document title in the search results.
  1. Click the Supersede Document button at the page’s top-right corner.
  2. Update the tags for the document as described above.
  3. Click the Supersede Document button at the page’s top-right corner to save your changes to the document register.
