Work out which documents you want to include in your O&M manual

In most cases, your handover documents will have been specified in original supplier contracts.

O&M Manuals usually include drawings, manuals, specifications, reports, and warranties.

Consult with the project’s subcontractors and suppliers to identify the documents they should supply to you.

You can start collecting the documentation for your manual at any point during or after your project.

Document types and formats

You may need to handover some, or all, of these types of documents:

  • drawings

  • manuals

  • reports

  • schematics

  • specifications

  • asset lists.
