Add documents to a package

Add documents to your packages, directly from the document register.

Select up to 50 documents, and add them to a maximum of 100 packages.

This saves you time if, for example, you have a set of standard specifications that apply to many packages. You'll find the Add to Packages option under Tools in both the Document Register and Drawings.

The maximum number of documents that can be added per package is limited to 3000.

Note: You can’t add confidential documents directly to a package, however, it is possible to make a document confidential after it has been added. In this case, Aconex displays a warning that a confidential document is part of this Package and needs to be removed before the Package can be sent.

  1. Select the documents to add to packages. You may want to search and filter the documents first.
  2. Click Tools, and select Add to Packages.
  1. Select the packages to add these documents to.
  2. Click Add to Packages.
  3. You'll see a message confirming the documents have been added to your packages per your selection.

Tip!

You can only see and select packages where you are an Administrator or Editor.
