Reassign a workflow document to someone else

Workflow Initiators can reassign a workflow step to a different reviewer.

The Workflows Initiator can reassign a workflow step to someone who wasn't originally responsible for it. This person doesn't have to be in the same organization as the person who was originally assigned the task.

Tip!

  • Your published markups will be kept when you delegate or reassign.
  • Any subworkflows created from the reassigned step will be automatically terminated.
  1. Find the documents.
  2. Select the checkbox for each document you want to assign to a different person.
  1. Click Initiator Tools in the workflow header row, and then select Reassign.
  1. Enter the name of the person you want to replace in the Replace field.
  2. Enter the name of the person you want to assign this step to in the with field.
  3. Click the OK button to save this change to the workflow.
  1. Click the Close button in the confirmation message.
