Increase or Decrease your Aconex Session Timeout

Change your session duration from the default value and choose a different duration.

If your Aconex session has been inactive for the time specified for your session duration, you'll be automatically logged out.

  1. Click the Setup button on the Module Menu, and under Configuration, click Preferences.
  1. Scroll down to Personal settings, Session, Select session time duration.
  2. Clear the checkbox in the Use Default Setting column.
  3. Choose the session length you want in the Duration list.

Tip!

The maximum duration you can select can be limited by preferences set by your Organization or Project Administrator.   For example, if your Organization has a maximum duration set as 6 hours, and any Project that you are invited to has a maximum duration set to 3 hours, then your user preference settings will be selectable up to 3 hours.  Also see Organization Preferences and Project Preference guides.

  1. Click the Save button.
